High-Demand Programs

MTC offers only programs that will lead to high-demand career fields. Many colleges offer a plethora of programs. However, MTC is committed to offering fewer programs, which will mean fewer enrollments. This is okay with MTC, because with MTC, the student comes first. It is not about enrollments; it is about students’ opportunities once they graduate. MTC monitors trends in the workforce to ensure that the degrees that students receive are in high demand.

Career-Specific Training

Along the same line of commitment to its students, MTC knows that employment opportunities abound for graduates when they have been trained in career-specific skill sets, as opposed to training in general skills or liberal arts. At MTC, students will be trained to immediately begin in careers due to their hands-on and extern experience coupled with a solid theoretical foundation. MTC utilizes advisory boards comprised of medical and human resource experts, community leaders, alumni, faculty, and staff who meet bi-annually to review curriculum in relationship to industry changes and demands. As a result, MTC graduates are always prepared for the positions that are available in the workplace. In addition, they have not taken classes they don’t need. Therefore the student does not waste time or waste money.

Accredited and Approved

MTC is nationally accredited and state approved. MTC is nationally accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) and is approved by the Commission on Proprietary Education (COPE) for the state of Indiana.

Convenient Class Schedules

MTC is a college rich in the understanding that most of its students are non-traditional students who have returned to college after having been out of school for a few too many years. In respect for the many and competing challenges and demands that its students experience when returning to school, MTC offers a convenient class schedule, small classes, individual attention and free tutoring.

Instructors are Medical Professionals

MTC hires its instructors from the community of medical professionals with whom it works and is affiliated, ensuring students quality instruction from the leaders in the industry.

Student Centered

MTC focuses on student development and professional growth, realizing that the student is its first priority. The staff is friendly and knows students’ names. Nonetheless, a professional atmosphere is always maintained.

Graduate Focused

MTC measures its success by the success of its graduates. Its motto is: “If our graduates aren’t successful, we aren’t successful.” Career Services is a real department, not a concept. By focusing both on the needs of its graduates and the needs of the employers in the communities in which it serves, MTC has set the standard in college career placement. MTC knows that it’s not just about finding jobs for its graduates; it’s about finding careers for them. MTC creates a collaborative process among the Career Services Director, the graduate and potential employers to create the right fit and package for the graduate that takes into consideration salary, benefits, opportunities and more. In addition, Career Services is lifetime. Graduates can return to work with the Career Services department at any time and for any reason to update their resumes, improve interviewing skills, achieve a promotion or seek a new employment opportunity.
