Two Unique, High-Quality Nursing Programs at MedTech College!
PN and RN Programs in Indiana
These Associate degree programs are self-contained. Presently there is no wait list. However, class size is limited, and these programs are selective. Due to the clinical nature of these programs, course offerings are full-time. The programs prepare students to sit for the NCLEX examination (PN/RN).
We now offer TWO SCHEDULING OPTIONS for our students:

A Full-Time Day Program: Classes will be held Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:10p.m. Clinical rotations can extend these hours – clinicals may be offered during early morning, evening and weekend shifts. Available at Fort Wayne and Greenwood Campuses for Registered and Practical Nursing Programs. Available at the Indianapolis campus for Practical Nursing only.

A Full-Time NIGHT Program: Classes will be held Monday – Friday between the hours of 5:30 p.m. - 10:10 p.m. Clinical rotations can extend these hours – clinicals may be offered during evening and weekend shifts. Available at the Indianapolis Campus for Registered Nursing and Practical Nursing Programs.

Practical Nursing
MedTech College’s 15-month Practical Nursing (PN) program is designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary for students to enter challenging careers in nursing. This high-quality education, provided by registered nurses and other highly skilled healthcare professionals, engages the student immediately beginning with nursing foundations, through clinical rotations, and finally a capstone course for NCLEX-PN examination review for licensure. This program can provide employment opportunities in long-term care practice in nursing homes, hospitals or rehabilitation centers and acute care practice in hospitals, urgent care facilities, occupational care centers or physicians' offices. Available at the Indianapolis Fort Wayne, and Greenwood Campuses.
Registered Nursing
The Associate of Science-Registered Nurse prepares the student to become a registered nurse. Student nurses will be trained to assess health outcomes, teach, administer, supervise, delegate, and evaluate nursing practice. The Associate of Science-Registered Nurse program will teach students general and specific health care needs of people from birth to older adulthood. Emphasis will be placed on specialty areas including medical and surgical nursing, obstetrical nursing, pediatric nursing, and gerontological nursing. The program consists of classroom theory and clinical skills is then taught in clinical rotations in hospitals, clinics, and healthcare agencies in the geographic area. Available at the Indianapolis, Greenwood and Fort Wayne Campuses.
