Indiana Locations:

Monday and Wednesday Session--Fort Wayne Campus:  Mondays and Wednesdays, beginning April 5, 2010 through April 28th, 2010.  Hours:  6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. (24 hours) Fee: $799.00

Saturday Session– Greenwood Campus:   Saturdays, beginning April 4, 2010 through April 24, 2010 (4 weeks of instruction) Hours: 9:00 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. (24 contact hours) Fee: $799.00 

Kentucky Locations:

Monday and Wednesday Session--Lexington Campus:  Mondays and Wednesdays, beginning April 5, 2010 through April 28th, 2010.  Hours:  6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. (24 hours) Fee: $799.00

Course Description:

This course will explore the duties of the physical therapy aide such as preparing treatment areas, ordering devices and supplies, transporting patients, assisting with ambulation and gait training, assisting with therapeutic exercise, assisting with physical therapy agents, and modalities.

This is an excellent short-term course for individuals wanting to break into the medical field or add skill sets to their current resumes.

Certificates of attendance will be awarded only to those who attend a minimum of 75% of the class sessions. Proficiency or non-proficiency status will be denoted on the certificate. Students are required to master necessary skills and attend the final class to receive proficiency status.
