Full-Time and Part-Time Nursing Instructors-Indianapolis & Greenwood, IN
We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Full-Time and Part-Time Nursing Instructors (OB, clinical and classroom) at our Indianapolis & Greenwood campus. The Full-Time & Part-Time Nursing Instructor is responsible for training students for nursing employment by developing skills in those areas in which the instructor is qualified to teach. The philosophy of MedTech College requires that such training be conducted in a professional manner to meet the needs of the student and employer. These duties include: train nursing students by developing skills in those areas in which the instructor is qualified to teach according to approved course syllabus, maintain a 40 hour work week and allow class preparation time as described in employee handbook along with all procedures and policies outlined, prepare and submit a weekly lesson plan in advanced to accomplish the course objectives in accordance with the objectives listed on the syllabus, report to the Program Director of Nursing for clinical rotation schedules, report any problems that may arise on clinical rotation sites to the Clinical Coordinator and the Director of Nursing immediately, maintain current knowledge of the healthcare system through continuing education units, outside seminars, in-service activities, membership in professional organizations, and reading of current professional periodicals; incorporate this knowledge into the student training process, encourage nursing students to seek instructors help and work willingly and tactfully with those students experiencing difficulty in mastery of subjects taught, use appropriate testing programs to demonstrate to both the nursing student and instructor the progress being made, maintain student retention expectations as outlined by Director of Nursing, complete reports as required by Director of Nursing, attend nursing instructor meetings as required, attend commencement exercises and other related school functions. Program Director-Physical Therapist Assistant-Indianapolis, IN
We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Program Director-Physical Therapist Assistant at our Indianapolis, IN campus. The PTA Program Director is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the PTA program to include instruction, student externships, medical labs, accreditation, and supervisory responsibilities. These duties include: providing strategic leadership for the campus in education, faculty and student retention, and student services for the program being directed, develop and maintain knowledge of all institutional and programmatic accreditation rules and regulations, develop and maintain knowledge of all APTA, CAPTE state laws and regulations pertaining to Physical Therapy Assisting, follow written system for all institutional and programmatic accreditations, preside over the administration of the entrance examination (TEAS) and health screen of each PTA student prospect, monitor results and meet with each PTA student prospect prior to admission into the PTA program, evaluate weekly lesson plans submitted by PTA instructors to assure achievement of course objectives in accordance with prepared syllabus including CAPTE minimum required skill competencies and PTA skill categories, will conduct self-study for CAPTE for accreditation, will complete CAPTE programmatic accreditation within a timely manner so that all PTA students will be recognized as a graduate from a CAPTE accredited program, coordinate physical exams conducted on PTA students, provide health screen for all potential PTA students, coordinate completion of all medical liability forms ensuring payments are made to insurance company and all policies are in place, analyze in conjunction with other PTA educational outcomes, the statistics on the PTA examination passing rates, manage those statistics accordingly and adjust policy if necessary to ensure student success, take an active role in interviewing, hiring or dismissal of instructors in the program being directed, assess competency level of each instructor in the program being directed; thoroughly review all faculty credentials ensuring ACICS, State PTA, APTA and CAPTE and programmatic accreditation guidelines are maintained, conduct classroom evaluations of all faculty members teaching in the program being directed at least once per quarter for existing instructors and twice per quarter for all instructors in their first quarter at MedTech College, ensure follow-up with faculty following evaluations and develop professional development plans based on specific needs identified, conduct workshops and seminars for PTA faculty to assure they earn CEU'S annually in compliance with each individual's credentialing requirements, conduct new PTA instructor orientation program to include instructional protocol, OSHA, CLIA, HIPAA, Blood-Born Pathogens, APTA and CAPTE and MedTech College orientation, manage and maintain classroom and labs, conduct externship site visits at least once per a quarter and complete visit documentation, Assess programs to evaluate compliance with OSHA, HAZMAT, and CLIA. Requirements for this position includes: Bachelor's Degree in PT required; Master's degree required, must be a licensed physical therapist or a licensed, certified or registered (if required) physical therapist assistant, minimum five years experience as a PT or PTA that includes clinical practice, didactic and/or clinical teaching, and experience in administration, teaching experience in post-secondary and/or vocational/technical education preferred.

Director of Career Services-Lexington, KY
We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Director of Career Services at our Lexington, KY campus. The Director of Career Services is responsible for the coordination of all career services and related activities. The Part-Time General Science Instructor is responsible for the instruction of students in the Allied Health and/or Nursing Programs where appropriate. Nursing Clinical Services Supervisor-Indianapolis, IN
We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Nursing Clinical Services Supervisor at our Indianapolis, IN campus. The Nursing Clinical Services Supervisor is responsible for coordinating all aspects of clinical nursing education to facilitate unified achievement of program objectives in the RN and PN nursing programs. These duties include: Develop and maintaining knowledge of all nursing regulations and guidelines set forth by the state and appropriate accrediting bodies, in particular regulations pertaining to clinical environments and required content and student rations, identify and coordinate clinical rotation sites, schedules these site appropriately for each nursing student, in conjunction with campus nursing administration, work closely with nursing employers to develop clinical sites, place nursing students in those clinical sites and monitor student and facility satisfaction with the experience, develop and maintain a process to receive routine quarterly feedback from all clinical sites in order to apply CQI concepts and strengthen relationships, provide evidence-based learning objectives specific to course requirements for each clinical site, including all observation experiences, facilitate an effective distribution process which ensures all clinical sites are in possession of clinical objectives prior to the start of each quarter, assist the Director of Nursing or designee in scheduling nursing instructors on clinical rotation sites with student-teacher ratio not to exceed 10:1 for a maximum of 25 hours per week, coordinate a schedule of routine clinical site evaluations, complete reports as requested by Program Director of Nursing, assist Program Director of Nursing with the quarterly master schedule for nursing students, provide personal management and work-product oversight for all Clinical Coordinators assigned to the campus, assist in the coordinate of field trips, guest speakers, and community involvement for nursing students.
