This course offers the experienced medical coder tips and essential skills to take and pass the CPC (Certified Professional Coder) national examination. This course provides students with information on the national organization that sponsors this exam, the style of exam, how to prepare for the exam, comprehensive review of both ICD-9 and CPT coding, and tips on taking standardized examinations. Mock examinations will be given at the beginning and end of the course to gauge exam readiness.
